Notes From Our First Event

Inland Empire for Israel hosted its first public event March 14 at CenterPlace in Spokane Valley. Thirty-five people came out on a Thursday night to watch “Supernova,” a 50 minute documentary detailing the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre at the Supernova music festival in southern Israel.

The audience heard survivors, in their own words, tell the story of the terrorist attacks that left 1,200 dead and hundreds of others as Hamas hostages in Gaza. They also saw videos of the attack shot by festival goers and Hamas.

After the film was a question-and-answer session with members from Inland

Empire for Israel.

The movie is intense, but not graphic. Because those calling for Israel’s destruction want us to forget the events of Oct. 7, or worse, deny they even happened, films like Supernova are an important reminder of what really went on that day.

If you are interested in screening Supernova for your group or organization, please contact Inland Empire for Israel. It’s easy to do and we are happy to have group members present to answer questions and facilitate discussion after the movie.

The film was graphic and gut wrenching for anyone related to the people of Israel. Nonetheless, it should be required viewing for politicians, students, and academicians to recognize the brutality of Hamas (and Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and above all - Iran) and the resolve of Israelis to defeat terror ism and survive. Biden, Blinken, Schumer et al seem to be asleep at the wheel, to put it mildly.
