About the event
We are bringing a survivor of the October 7th massacre from Israel right here to Spokane to speak.
What a powerful opportunity to hear in person, not filtered through any media, but human to human, about that devastating day.
Faces of October 7th is an organization that connects eyewitness survivors from the Hamas massacre, touring communities and colleges across America.
We are bringing Israel to the Inland Northwest!
Meet our speaker:
Gal Cohen-Solal is a 37 year old father of 3 young children. On October 7th Gal was at home in Kibbutz Re'im with his wife and three kids when the massacre unfolded. Re'im is the kibbutz closest to the Nova Dance Festival, another site of unspeakable atrocities.
"Almost 60 terrorists entered the Kibbutz and hundreds more were outside the Kibbutz.
The terrorists tried to break into their house and when they didn't succeed they shot at the door and fired shots through the window into the house.
The terrorists set up a base in their driveway, where they came and went from massacring other families. Gal and his family hid inside their safe room for close to 30 hours, trying their best to muffle their baby’s cries to stay hidden."
Not only will hearing the harrowing tale of Gal's survival be a riveting experience,
...this is also our opportunity to communicate to the Survivors that WE CARE, holding them in honor, and bearing witness to their pain.
